DCBC are currently looking for new corporate sponsors to help support our student members and the maintenance of our top-class facilities.
Over half of the student body tries rowing during their time at the Cambridge, making it the most popular sport across the University. DCBC is the largest sports club within Downing – a college with both a strong academic reputation, and a firm sporting tradition. Year on year, DCBC is highly successful in the University-wide competitions, the Lent and May Bumps, with the Women Currently holding 2nd and 7th in the two competitions respectively. The Men currently hold 4th and 7th respectively. The club has also been represented at some of the highest-profile races across the world including the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, (MA) the Fours Head and the Head of the River Race in London, the Henley Women’s Regatta, and the Head of the Amstel.
We are also the proud home of a state of the art 8 man indoor rowing tank, the Cambridge Rowing Tank, which has received national publicity.
